Travelers who like moving around with their body and their soul, without a final destination, just for the pleasure of finding new and unexpected places, these are men and women presented by Carin Wester for SS12.
Colors, feelings and sensations are mixed on the catwalk, creating a journey trip that take us from Polynesian exotic beaches, that inspire the floral prints of dresses and pants, to the Saint Tropez jet-set, embodied by flowing trousers and boho-chic shirts.
The flair of the collection is all in the gipsy styling. The hair ruffled by the wind and bleach by the salt, feet and ankles decorated with henna and tanned faces. An homage to the beat generation and to Matisse, who inspired directly the collection, called "Window at Tangier" in honor to the famous painting of the French master "Paysage vue d'une fenêtre".
Oversize cardigan and pants, the superpositions of colors and the maxi bags caught my attention.
Sono dei viaggiatori, che amano muoversi con il corpo e con la mente, senza avere una meta precisa, ma solo per trovare posti nuovi e inaspettati, quelli presentati da Carin Wester per la PE 12.

Colori, emozioni, sensazioni sono tutti riversati sulla passerella in un grande percorso che ci porta dalle spiagge esotiche della Polinesia, a cui si ispirano le stampe floreali di abiti a pantaloni, al jet set d Saint Tropez, a cui rimandano pantaloni fluidi e camicie boho-chic.
Il fascino della collezione sta tutto nello styling gipsy: capelli scompigliati dal vento e ossigenati dalla salsedine, tocchi di henné sui piedi e le caviglie e pelle abbronzata dal sole. Un omaggio alla culture beat e ai quadri di Matisse , a cui si ispira direttamente la collezione, chiamata "Window at Tangier", con un rimando al capolavoro del maestro francese "Paysage vue d'une fenêtre".
Hanno catturato la mia attenzione i pantaloni e i cardigan oversize le sovrapposizioni di colori e le maxi borse.
