Carin Wester's catwalk starts on a maze of yellow corridors opened on the sides. One of the enfant prodige of Swedish fashion decided in fact to let the city participate in her show, opening the doors to the curious who, walking in Kungsträdgården, could have a look at one of the the most eagerly awaited event of the Fashion Week.
An hymn to simplicity and passe-partout dresses, that could be worn from the office to the club, just playing with accessories. It's not by chance that the name of the collection is "A power suit's diary" and it's inspired by the movie Working Girl.
To boss the show iridescent micro dresses, cigarette pants and dust coats made unique by exclusive silhouette and unexpected cuts. Minimal but with a twist. Noteworthy the maxi clutchs and the wooden wedges, among the best accessories I saw on catwalks.
For him a look that merge into the feminine: long blazers mixed with bermuda shorts, ankle pants, oversized shirts and loafers. A metrosexual style that didn't convinced me completely.
Si apre su un labirinto di corridoi gialli aperti sui lati la sfilata di Carin Wester. Una degli enfant prodige della moda svedese ha infatti deciso di condividere la sua collezione con la città, aprendo le porte ai curiosi passanti che, passeggiando per Kungsträdgården, hanno avuto il piacere di assistere ad una delle sfilate più attese della settimana della moda.
Un inno alla semplicità e agli abiti passe-partout, che possono essere portati da mattina a sera, solamente giocando con gli accessori. Non è un caso che la collezione si chiami "A power suit's diary" e si sia ispirata al film Una donna in carriera.
A farla da padrone micro dress cangianti, pantaloni a sigaretta e spolverini resi unici dai volume over e dai tagli inaspettati. Minimal sì, ma con un twist. Degne di nota anche le maxi clutch e le zeppe in legno, tra gli accessori più belli visti in questa settimana della moda.
Per lui invece un look che si fonde e si confonde con quello femminile. Lunghi blazer portati con bermuda, pantaloni alle caviglie, camicie oversize e mocassini, per un ritorno al metrosexual che non mi ha convinta del tutto.
